Kidnomics is a free rewards program for parents. You upload the invoice or receipt from your childcare provider each month, earn points on money you were already spending, and redeem those points for kids’ toys, gear, and family products in the Kidnomics Marketplace at shop.kidnomics.com.
Any childcare provider that gives you an invoice or receipt qualifies — daycare centers, preschools, nannies, au pairs, babysitters, after-school programs, and camps. If you pay for care and can show a receipt for it, you can earn points on it.
You earn 3 points for every US dollar of qualifying childcare spend. A family paying $1,500 a month in daycare earns 4,500 points a month — 54,000 points a year. You can submit up to 5 receipts per calendar month, covering up to $10,000 of childcare spend per month.
From your dashboard, snap a photo or upload a PDF of your childcare invoice or receipt. Kidnomics verifies it and credits your points. Receipts must be dated within the last 365 days, and each receipt can only be submitted once.
No. Kidnomics is completely free for parents — there is no membership fee, and earning points never changes what you pay your childcare provider.
No. Points do not expire as long as your account remains active and in good standing. If that ever changes, Kidnomics will give at least 90 days’ written notice first.
In the Kidnomics Marketplace at shop.kidnomics.com. When you’re logged in, the “Unlock with Points” feature lets you apply your points balance to a product as a discount at checkout — on climbing toys, lunch gear, play sets, arts and crafts, and more from vetted family brands.
No. Any childcare provider that issues receipts qualifies, whether or not they’ve heard of Kidnomics. Partner centers simply make it easier to get started — they share a signup QR code with their families. If you’d like your center to partner, point your director to kidnomics.com/partners.
Yes. Receipt images are stored in isolated, secured storage and are visible only to you and authorized Kidnomics staff verifying your submission — never to vendors, advertisers, or your childcare provider. Yes. When a friend signs up through your referral link, you each receive 500 bonus points — and when they upload their first qualifying receipt, you receive another 1,000 points.
